Dune Trailer – 2021

Inspired by the delicate power of Hans Zimmer’s Dune 1 soundtrack, I set out to create my own version, removing the trailer of all its original music and writing, recording and mixing my own version.
Composing for Voice
In the third and final year of my music Degree, I was required to create a series of compositions for Voice. This series consisted of three compositions, for solo, ensemble and choir.
Jazz
My affinity for Jazz has always been present, but during my time at university this has only grown. I have written a multitude of original jazz scores and created my own arrangement of many standards for piano and full ensembles.
Marching Corps
As one of my earliest compositions, writing for marching corps taught me the fundamentals of balance and compositonal delicacy. With some minor edits since its development for my A levels, it remains one of my favorite compositions.
Studio Work
The final year of my degree saw me inherit ‘Studio 5’, the dark, unused studio at the end of the hall in University. Making it my own, I spent endless hours composing electroacoustic music, Djing and Scratching, Recording and Mastering tracks.
